Home » All About Me
I have always been interested in medicine, alternative medicine, nutrition and various physical and mental therapies. After nursing school I returned to college and got a BS degree in Human Services Counseling followed by a Graduate degree in Substance Abuse Rehabilitation. In graduate school studying the effect of drugs on the body led me to an indepth study of human anatomy and physiology. I have been trained in
STDs and HIV/AIDS epidemiology at the CDC. Every bit of knowledge opens up new doors to more things to study. New information has always been a source of excitement to me. I believe that in order to stay healthy, we must continue to grow everyday of our lives. I have been a continuous student and seeker of knowledge all my life and I am excited to share my knowledge with you. I am an avid reader, researcher and interested in all aspects of human life; physical, emotional, and spiritual. I have always been a wanna be writer, and I am trying to write a novel. Trying is the operative word here. Although I am not a talented writer, I am enjoying the process of trying to learn to write. This website is a new challenge for me in my retirement years and I am looking forward to the opportunities and new experiences which this will afford me. |
